Basement Roma

Basement Roma is a self-directed exhibition space and publishing initiative based in Rome, dedicated to contemporary art practices, research, and visual culture. Building upon the visual identity originally established by Dan Solbach, the website underwent a full redesign and web development cycle in close collaboration with founding editor Andrea Baccin. Embracing a strict default aesthetic, the updated digital platform expands the initial framework into a raw, highly functional interface engineered to host an expanding index of exhibitions, editorial publications, events, and historical project archives.
